This is a collection of 6 different hands models under a glass dome. The hands and dome are the turn-of-the-century. These were used as models for prosthetic hands. One is a very rare wax model, one is hard rubber and the remaining 4 are hand painted plaster over wood. The realistic detail in each indicates that they were life casts.
